What a sweet evening it was!!! I have to concur with all that's been posted so far. Yes, I couldn't fall asleep either, yes, I lost my voice. That's why I'm posting today...I normally think out loud, and I could not do that yesterday. Today with my vocal chords intact, I'm able to post again. The air was filled with nostalgia, and genuine feelings. I have to say that we were and still are a fantastic bunch of people. Good looking, smart, fun loving, on and on...Kudos to the committee.

Unbelievable - I almost made it through this trip without much snow, and now on the morning of my departure - big, white, fluffy stuff - lots of it. No offense everyone, but I can't wait to get home, this cold weather is for polar bears (not that I didn't look like one all wrapped up!). Micheline - MUCH MUCH MUCH thanks for getting our visit to Pius arranged. Those of us who made it after so few hours of sleep enjoyed it thoroughly. To those of you who missed it - you missed it - literally. I'm sure we'll post a few photos soon. As I sign off and catch my flight back to Florida, I wanted to mention how disappointed I am to see so many of you who have sent posts in since yesterday . . . I thought I reacquainted myself with many of my former classmates and now I see even more classmates who have posted that I never got to say hello to or even speak to . . . how sad . . . I'm terribly sorry I didn't get to talk to you.

It was a night to remember! The excitement and energy of the banquet room was "electrifying". It was a joy to see everybody in good spirits and doing well. Yes, we made it after all! To those of us who could not be there because of distance, or otherwise, you were missed. In particular, but not exclusively, Riccardo Capuano in England and Mimmo Gambacorta in Italy. It's only 100 years from cradle to grave, so let's get together again as a class soon. My best wishes for the future to all.

Thank you Lucy, Frank, Joey, Tony, Sab, Miche, Carmine. I wish I had had more time to say hello to everyone. How about same time, same place next year? Iżll help. P.S. Donna, good to hear that you got safely back to Calgary.

The screen is blurred; tears are streaming down my cheeks. I can't seem to figure out why. Is it nostalgia? Is it realizing that there are wondrously good people out there that we forgot or didn't think about during the past 25 years? Is it sadness at the thought that yesterday was just an ephemeral moment to be savoured, an effervescence of time to be remembered every now and then? I woke up this morning (after only 2 hours of sleep) and saw the day dawning bright, a glorious sun rising. How grateful I was to be alive to experience one of the best moments of my life, to have shared it with some very special people. I can't find the words to describe yesterday except something my son would say "SWEET"! I hope I can keep my promise to myself to seize this second chance to renew old friendships and nurture newfound ones. Carmy

When i left the party last night, i couldn't stop smiling ..even when i got to my sister's in NDG at 2h30 (having woken her up, she, as heck, wasn't smiling)...even during my visit with the in-laws this afternoon...the smile lingered...all the way back to T.O. tonight through a freakin' blizzard (just got home)...what a high! (and no magic mushrooms, ecstasy, pot or excessive alchool involved!)..it was a great night! Girlfriends, you all looked ABSOF***IN'LUTELY FAAABOULOUS!! There were those who didn't age at all and looked as if they had just walked out the front entrance at St.Pius. There were those who looked even better today (ps. could i have the name to your stylist/professional trainer/plastic surgeon/all of the above - only kidding..HA!) Guys, you all looked...er....well...kind of looked..er....i didn't really recognize many of you because you lost..er gained..i mean......er..well..lets keep this positive...you all colour-coordinated your black outfits real well and really did a nice squat at the beginning!! (ha!) (P.S. and by the way Mister Photo Man, do not tell (pre)menopauseal women to squat for any long period of time!!!). Seriously, everyone looked great because they all looked like they were enjoying themselves. It was great to see old friends and laugh at nicolas cage dancing..er i mean laugh at old time (ps. Nick, only kidding..your dance moves would make Twila Twarp proud!) Anyways, I've got lots of photos that i'll send (if you see any that you're interested in, let me know and i'll e-mail them to you). I want to personally thank Lucy, Micheline, Frank, Joe, Sabatino and Tony for dedicating a good deal of their time and sanity to putting this together and inviting us to this great party! Un gros merci! Let us NOT wait another 25 years to do this again! (i would hate to have to dance to Boogie Boogie Fever with a walker and my fake teeth flying out on the dance floor!)

I had a great time. It was a pleasure seeing old friends again. This was truly an experience one should never miss. Hope our paths will cross again sometime. It's too bad I didn't get a chance to speak to everyone present. So much to say, so little time. Sorry I didn't get a chance to say good-bye. I had to leave in a hurry and it would probably have take 1 hour to do the rounds. Keep in touch. Email. etc. Benny

Well, the morning after the night before and what a night. I am so impressed with all that transpired and more so that this bulletin board is already set up in post-reunion mode! As soon as I get back I will be sending some photos to post, I think I took one or two! I am actually surprised no one has sent any in yet, what, are you people still catching up on your beauty sleep? So good to see so many and I forgot what a spread gets put on at an Italian Banquet Hall - holy do-do Batman - I'm still stuffed.
